We are living in an epidemic of chronic stress, burnout and mental wellbeing struggles. Busy women need nutritional self-care more than ever. And finding ways to incorporate the right nutrition strategies into your unique lifestyle will help to re-boot your energy levels, enhance your mood, balance your hormones and get you feeling like the healthiest and happiest version of yourself.

But perhaps most importantly, learning to adopt realistic and practical approaches to achieve this without it being an additional stressor. Putting too much pressure on ourselves and worrying about what to eat and what not to eat (based around all sorts of conflicting advice) can be just as detrimental to our mental well-being and deprive us of the happiness food should bring us. Eating is meant to be joyful and enrich our lives, it should not be something we find stressful or dread.

There is a delicate balance to be had but it’s an important one to work towards for both your mental and emotional well-being.
